Meet the Limelight Musicals team
Andrew Bailey
Award-winning writer - composer
Award-winning writer Andrew Bailey has a string of successful children's musicals to his name.
His popular shows have been produced and broadcast by the BBC, and featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
They are in constant production by schools and youth drama groups in the UK and around the world.
The acclaimed modern nativity Bus Stop 23 was produced and broadcast on BBC 1, under the musical direction of Guy Wolfenden, then musical director of the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
The premiere of Andrew's musical Frank & Rosy was staged at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, followed by a series of successful productions around the country.
Andrew's latest children's musicals, Dazzle! and Poptastic, are inspiring young performers and delighting audiences at schools and theatre groups around the UK and across the English speaking world.
Brian Farley
Orchestrator and arranger
Trained at Trinity College, London, Brian is a professional musical director and orchestrator-arranger with vast experience of stage musicals.
He has 25 years experience at the top level, including five years as musical director for the UK national tour of Evita.
Brian has been musical director on some of the world’s leading cruise liners, responsible for spectacular onboard shows. His work spans studio (performance and production), television and stage shows.
He has written the sparkling orchestrations for the Limelight shows Dazzle!, Poptastic, Bus Stop 23 and Frank & Rosy, and is working on other upcoming shows.
Judy Kenny
Art director
Judy is responsible for Limelight Musical’s brilliant graphic designs.
A graduate of the London College of Printing, she is an accomplished designer with wide experience, including magazines, web sites and programmes for West End shows. She has been shortlisted for the PPA Award's top honour, Art Editor of the Year.
Mike Millsted (left), producer - special projects
Mark Rogers (right), audio engineer and producer
Mike has produced and directed a number of Limelight shows and was responsible for the highly successful Edinburgh production of Frank & Rosy. He is currently working with Mark Rogers on the latest Limelight recording project, Poptastic. Mark Rogers is a top UK studio producer, having been senior engineer at London’s world-famous Abbey Road Studios for many years. As a musician he has also contributed to several previous Limelight productions.
Moira Roach
Score editor
Moira polishes the dots until they sparkle.
A graduate of Birmingham University, she has worked for several leading UK and international publishers. More recently she worked at Trinity College, London, project managing and editing music books for examinations, before going freelance and joining the Limelight team.
Moira is currently finalising the Poptastic piano/vocal score, before putting on her dancing shoes and diving into the next Limelight recording project, Frank & Rosy.
