Molly Armstrong plays Poppy Pringle in Bowness on Solway's Dazzle!
What the children said about Dazzle!
“I loved being Poppy Pringle in Dazzle! The story inspired me more than any other I have seen or performed in. I have had the song ‘Bring on the moon and the dancing’ stuck in my head since the last performance. I have loved being in the show – from the auditions to the curtain calls. I would recommend Dazzle! to any school or youth theatre.”
“I absolutely loved doing Dazzle! The character of Failsafe was so fun to act. It was exciting wearing a reflective jacket with ‘Failsafe HSE’ on the back and a tie made out of hazard tape!
“My favourite character is Sarkky Cutter, the villain! I love her costume and wig. I am still laughing now! My favourite song was ‘Who needs sunshine’.
“Dazzle! was wicked! I loved being Superintendent Beakworthy – and trying to get Poppy Pringle. I also loved being understudy for Parker, he was really funny. The song that I loved best was ‘Freeze the Air’.”
"My favourite part was when Parker and Guillemot came on with the three-legged trousers and did their bit. And when all the costumes were dazzling in the light. Dazzle is a great show."
Jason Taylor (played Spooky)
“My favourite part was when Megarich slaps Squeamish twice with his briefcase! My favourite song was ‘Freeze the Air’. I really enjoyed using the lap top to control the cues for the music.”
